Outline of the presentation on my rationalist dualist philosophy

1. Descartes' proof of God is the weakest part of his logic that tarnishes his
   otherwise stellar philosophy.

   1.1. His idea of God did not come from a true God but from his Medieval
	upbringing.

   1.2. His proof of God is easily refuted by an atheist.

   1.3. This "proof" does not protect one from skepticism: Korkoran example.

2. Cartesian philosophy is better without God: give my alternative defense from
   skepticism.

   2.1. An evil genius is still possible: again Professor Korkoran.

   2.2. But such an evil genius would have to be truly evil, truly a deceiver,
	and contrary to idealists would be extremely unnatural.

   2.3. Truthfulness of reality: our reason gives total support for genuine
	material and spiritual realities and our senses, even though inferior
	to reason, support it.

   2.4. Such sensory support of rational genuine reality cannot come by accident
	and if untrue may only be a product of extremely elaborate and
	deliberate deception by an evil genius.

   2.5. By Ockham's razor genuine reality is far simpler than deception by an
	evil genius.

   2.6. Teleological argument: if you are a brain in a vat, life is useless and
	it makes no difference what you do.  But if the rational material and
	spiritual realities are genuine, then life has a purpose: you can make
	the world better and grow spiritually.  Thus it is better to bet against
	skepticism.

3. Rationalism

   3.1. Descartes has already shown superiority of reason for knowing many more
	things than the senses can tell us.

   3.2. Reason is essential for modern scientific world view: lab instruments
	don't actually show you subatomic particles, they only give evidence for
	reason to work from, and only reason can conclude about the existence of
	those particles.

4. Dualism: my own theory

   4.1. Dualism is the best solution to determinism: the material world is
	governed by the law of Universal Causation, but the spiritual world is
	not, and mind has completely free thought and free will.

   4.2. Interaction between mind and body works like PK.

   4.3. Present my dualist view of the Universe.

   4.4. Atheist theory of creation: spirits engineered bodies for themselves in
	order to enjoy the material world.

   4.5. Explain quantum entanglement and the silver cord.
